Dr. Jess West is proud to serve the community he has called home his entire life. A native of Charlotte, North Carolina, he is grateful to live and practice in the same city where he was born and raised, caring for the neighbors and families who make it so special.
After graduating from Butler High School, Dr. West attended East Carolina University, where he earned a double major in biology and chemistry and a minor in philosophy, graduating magna cum laude. His interest in philosophy continues today and reflects his thoughtful, patient-centered approach to care.
Dr. West went on to receive his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the UNC School of Dentistry, where he trained under nationally recognized faculty and developed a strong foundation in modern dental techniques and technology. He is committed to providing high-quality, comfortable care and building lasting relationships with his patients.
Outside the office, Dr. West enjoys spending time with his wife, Logan—his high school sweetheart—and their four young children. As a father of four, he especially values creating a welcoming, family-friendly environment for patients of all ages. The West family is actively involved at Hope Community Church (OP), and they enjoy building strong connections within their faith and local community.
In his free time, Dr. West enjoys being outdoors—whether camping, hiking, fishing, or hunting—and spending time with his family exploring the natural beauty of North Carolina, from the mountains to the coast.
